Infrared system for motion detection and universal control on TV system add-on

Add-on system on TV is a solution created to enhanced overall TV functionality. Television has several drawbacks, such as energy wasting due to ineffective and inefficient usage and bad time management due to over usage of television. Things to be considered are the activities and the control method of the television. This study presents the implementation of activities detector around television using multi sensor algorithm and the implementation of TV control via infrared communication. Multi sensor needed to improve accuracy and to verify samples collected, and the recording of control command needed to ensure the system works universally. All the function will be made into an integrated module which will be connected to microcontroller. To configure this add-on system, the microcontroller will also be conncected to smartphone using wireless and secure connection.
