Conception of a heterogeneous robotic training factory

The following paper deals with the topic of humanrobot- collaboration in industrial applications. In the first part different research results and developments out of the industry concerning human-robot-collaboration are summarized. Aspects like the influence of the trajectory, facial expressions and gestures on collaboration or the latest collaborative robots, safe HRC-suitable end-of-arm-tools and new safety standards are discussed. In the second part of this work the concept of a heterogeneous robotic training factory which comprises a traditional as well as a state of the art collaborative robot is presented. The robots are applied in a practically oriented work scenario that emphasizes the tasks that are completed in collaboration. The robotic training factory is meant to be used as a basis for further projects and experiments in the field of human-robot-collaboration.
