Software Defined Mobility Management for Mobile Internet

In this chapter, we propose to use software defined networking (SDN) to address mobility management in the Internet. We review existing Internet mobility protocols and explain why SDN is beneficial to solve current Internet mobility problems. We demonstrate advantages of our proposal over typical Internet mobility solutions through both theoretical proof and experiments.
