9 Refiguring Art, Media, and Environment

In this book, we have shown how intersections, connections, and disconnections are emerging between art, screen media, and climate change in the Asia-Pacific. This has offered us a particular prism through which to understand how experiences, critiques, and new forms of awareness around, and participation in relation to, climate change and environmental issues are emerging. As we have shown, these relationships are always subject to the contingencies of the places in which they emerge.
