Enhancing and denoising of Bowel Gas using image fusion methods to upgrade ultra sound imaging systems

Medical imaging methods are very useful to monitor different diseases. In general, there are different scanning equipments are available like PET, MRI, and FMRI, US etc. These are useful to visualize different abnormalities of patients. But, most of the people and radiologists are interested to go for ultrasound (US) scanning to monitor the ultrasonic baby and other abdominal conditions. Because US doesn't contain any radiation like other scanning equipments. But, US cannot image the patient's condition if they consist of Bowel gas in their abdomens it does not pass the sound waves in gaseous medium. Hence, here we concentrate to upgrade the visualization of bowel gas and to reduce the speckle noise in images by using image fusion and wavelet based techniques. For this approach we have taken 33 different Real time images from our University Clinic.
