Integration of heterogeneous multimedia information for a strategic planning system

Recently, the strategic use of information in planning has been important for the quick development of new products. In strategic planning, a variety of heterogeneous information can be merged and analyzed from several view points. We propose a method that overlays and displays heterogeneous information in an integrated form so planners can easily understand the information. In the information integration, some heterogeneous information is linked with a hyperlink structure. The effectiveness of the proposed method is clarified in an application of geographical information.
