Abstract:

Often Wigner distribution's interference terms are considered "undesirable" artifacts in the time-frequency plane because they do not permit to observe important components of the analyzed signal, nevertheless, these interference terms could be a very useful tool in analysis of multicomponent signals, for instance, they can be employed to break up a signal into a sum of parts. This paper presents a time-frequency representation to analyze late potentials by means of interference terms interpretation of the Wigner distribution with ventricular tachycardia patients.
