Abstract:

This paper introduces an initial effort towards developing a framework to establish a plan to help the students with low achievement and disciplinary problems. It is no doubt that meeting the education needs of students with different level of talents and abilities is a challenging endeavour. With the increasing number of students with different learning problems in Hong Kong, there is a need for the teachers to well prepare and establish a plan to understand the diverse needs of their students. The traditional ways to help these students are mainly based on understanding their diversity and the teacher try to adopt some appropriate teaching methods to help these students. The major drawback is that it is very difficult to select appropriate teaching method and the chance of success is very dependent on the teacher's experience. Moreover, it is very difficult to find a good and experienced teacher in our society. Soft systems methodology (SSM) is a well-known model for information system design. This paper proposes to see the whole process as a system and adopts a systematic approach to understand the student needs and promoting inclusion in classroom
