Rainfall rates distributions in Spain and suggestions about the CCIR method to calculate rain attenuation

The reliability of CCIR attenuation prediction methods is discussed in this paper. The higher accuracy of the R0.01% contour maps against the climatic zones map, and the application of the complete rain rate distribution against the use of one single intensity value, R0.01%, to calculate rain attenuation, are considered.
