Towards a framework for ontology evolution

This paper presents design decisions involved in developing an ontology management framework that supports the user in creating and managing the ontology construction process. This framework supports the functions of an object-oriented representation, generic versioning control, and security of ontologies. Details on design considerations for each component within the framework are presented
