Abstract:
SINCE THE ADVENT of the tunnel diode, several ways of Using its V-I characteristic to perform logical decisions have been suggested; Figure 1. Invariably, the tolerance requirements placed on a circuit producing a reasonable fan-in/ fan-out are impractical and therefore make a large system operated in current mode, there is an optimum fan-out difficult to design.
