Chapter Abstract:

This chapter explores how to install Knative Serving on Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) cluster, along with how to install EKS cluster on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and what are the prerequisites for EKS installation. Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service is a managed service that developer can use to run Kubernetes on AWS without needing to install, operate, and maintain developer's own Kubernetes control plane or nodes. Kubernetes is an open‐source system for automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Amazon EKS control plane logging provides audit and diagnostic logs directly from the Amazon EKS control plane to CloudWatch Logs in developer's account.
