I. Introduction
Autonomous delivery vehicles are machines which have the ability to perform the task of delivering packages from one location to another, by sensing any obstacles in their course with minimal human intervention. With the increased concerns of global warming and climate change, it is of utmost importance for businesses to embark on greener last mile delivery options which are provided by autonomously controlled vehicles, including drones, sidewalk robots, remotely driven trucks and vans [1]. There are various levels of automation in such delivery vehicles ranging from full, partial, conditional and no automation.
