Abstract:

The paper proposes a definition of the concept of an information-diagnostic system (IDS) of an object. On the example of the analysis of the information-software complex “Defektoskop” for monitoring the parameters of signals of railway track defects, which implements the magneto-dynamic method (MDM), a corresponding structural diagram of the IDS “Defektoskop” was formed. Similar block diagrams can be proposed for other IDS operating in the frequency range 10−3-106 Hz.

The definition of the concept of an information-diagnostic system can be given, given that such a system should be considered as one of four types of information-measurement systems [1]–[3].
