Abstract:

The article presents a study of L-39ZA airplane air brake bracing beam using topology optimization in order to save the weight. Topology optimization using SW Ansys is performed for the same aluminum alloy material as the origin part to achieve the same ability of carrying the load expressed by braced beam stress-strain state and deformation. The weight saving achieved has the value 31%. The optimized part is possible to produce by additive manufacturing to match its complex shape.
