Abstract:
This paper proposes a new digital watermark method for motion pictures. Three features of the method are (1) the embedded marks are imperceptible to human eyes in real-time, slow motion, and even stop-motion playback; (2) marks are never found in unmarked pictures; and (3) the marks can be detected in both pixel data and MPEG data. The effectiveness of the method has been demonstrated experimentally using various kinds of motion pictures.
