Abstract:

In the proposed work, mathematical modeling of Solid-state transformer or power electronic transformer is presented using MATLAB Simulink. The operating principal along with the performance analysis of every module of transformer is described in detail. How the proposed transformer is different from the conventional transformer, the same is described in this proposed work. Features along with its limitations are also be discussed in this paper. The proposed topology is simulated for the 1-phase to 3-phase Solid State transformer. Focus is given on the quality of input line current and output line current with their %THD. The Input and output power of solid-state transformer is also presented.
