Abstract:

Current open source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis face challenges such as low efficiency in information gathering and processing, narrow coverage, and strong subjectivity, making it difficult to meet practical requirements. There is an urgent need to enhance the intelligence level of OSINT methods. Recently, Artificial Intelligence Generated Content has received increasing attention. Generative AI technologies, through processes like data mining, preprocessing, model training, content generation, and traceability and verification, can make OSINT collection and analysis more flexible and efficient. This paper presents application patterns of generative AI technologies in the field of OSINT. It designs a full-chain intelligent intelligence service model from information collection to service delivery. Additionally, the paper elaborates on the application prospects and challenges of integrating AI and OSINT. This provides insights and methodological approaches for upgrading intelligence methods and technologies from "Manual" to "Intelligent".
