Human Body Action Recognition Based on Bone Information by Kinect

This paper has proposed a method to identify human body action by the 3D data of human skeleton obtained by Kinect depth camera. Using this method, the human action can be identified by utilizing the difference between the angles of bone points from different human body actions. The experiment results show that the method is feasible and efficient, which can offset the influence of complex background and different light intensity.
