Two-Element Circularly Polarized Transparent MIMO Antenna for Sub-Six Wireless Communication Applications

In this paper, a low-profile proximity coupled transparent antenna is designed at 5.2GHz. A combination of materials is investigated. Plexiglass is the base material which has proven to provide high gain, low loss and high transparency. Circularly polarized transparent antenna is designed with FTO and plexiglass materials and 2-element MIMO antenna is then created. The diversity performance in terms of ECC and diversity gain is reported.
