Performance Emulation of Two Vertical Dielectrically Modulated Tunnel Field Effect Transistors

In this paper, a comparative analysis of vertical and hetero vertical (HV) dielectrically modulated TFET as label-free application is presented. Here, both biosensors are worked on two tunneling mechanism: lateral and vertical. It improves the energy band bending and transfer characteristic, which eventually enhance the detection rate of biomolecules. sensitivity. From the results, it is confirmed that the vertical DMTFET has better performance than the hetero vertical DMTFET, because of steep vertical and lateral BTBT mechanism.
