An Intelligent Resource Allocation Strategy for 5G Vehicular Networks

Due to the dynamic change of network topology in 5G vehicular networks, it will cause problems such as poor communication link stability and low data transmission rate. To solve the above problems, we propose an intelligent resource allocation (IRA) strategy for 5G vehicular networks. Firstly, we establish a 5G vehicular networks communication model. Then, to ensure that the network can seamlessly serve the moving vehicles, the network establishes and dynamically updates the user-centric dynamic access point group (APG) by predicting the mobility of the vehicles. Meanwhile, to ensure that the roadside unit in APG can provide satisfactory services with the movement of vehicles, we propose an algorithm for service resource distribution based on game theory, which thoroughly regards the load cost of network, the fA cost of throughput and vehicle income, thus realizing the flexible distribution of vehicle service resources by APG. The results of simulation show that the suggested strategy is ascendant to the traditional network-centric resource allocation strategy in terms of transmission rate, link reliability and network delay.
