Modelling and Analysis of Coordinated Photovoltaic-pumped-storage Generation Systems

The randomness, volatility and intermittence of photovoltaic power limit the grid connection capability of photovoltaic power generation, and with the rapid development of photovoltaic power generation, improving the consumption capacity of photovoltaic power is a big problem that needs to be solved urgently. The utilization of hydropower and photovoltaics for combined power generation is a new way to improve the consumption capacity of photovoltaics. In this paper, a short-term optimal scheduling model is established, with the target function of the maximum peak regulation capacity and the minimum deviation of the output and load requirements of the complementary system during the scheduling period. The annealed particle swarm algorithm is utilized as the optimization algorithm in this model, the crowded distance ordering is used to deal with multi-objective problems, and the data maintenance is carried out by using the method of external archives. In the end, it is concluded that water-light complementarity can significantly improve the peak regulation ability of the system.
