Research on Equivalent Modeling Method of Photovoltaic Power Generation Unit Clustering Based on Feature Analysis

Photovoltaic power stations include dozens to hundreds of photovoltaic power generation units and photovoltaic inverters. The operating characteristics of different types of inverters are different. When the grid with weak grid structure is used for mode calculation and safety and stability assessment, if the typical parameters and simplified models of single machine multiplying are used for electromechanical transient simulation analysis, problems such as power oscillation of adjacent lines and limited new energy delivery may occur. In this paper, a feature analysis method is proposed to calculate the feature distance between PV inverter model parameter groups. Taking a PV power station as an example, the inverters are grouped according to the distance of the feature distance, and then each group is modeled equivalently. The results can reflect the characteristics of PV inverter groups in the PV power station by comparing the operation characteristics of the equivalent model and the detailed model through simulation, Then it can be used as the equivalent model of the whole photovoltaic power station.
