The Optimization of a Real-Time Indoor Air Quality Monitoring System

Currently, air pollution is an environmental issue of global concern, leading to adverse effects on human health. Data indicates that during their lifetime, people spend roughly 90% of their time indoors. The aim of this work is to optimize the indoor air quality monitoring system developed in a previous work, which is capable of measuring in real-time, by means of 8 detectors, the level of a wide range of indoor pollutants and thermal conditions: CO, CO2eq, H2S, NO

and tVOCs. The system sends the sensor data to a server and displays it on a web page in a series of time charts for remote monitoring.
