Review of the Evaluation Methods for Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Levels

Nowadays, everyone experiences stress and anxiety occasionally. The main difference is that stress is generally a response to a threat, and anxiety is a stress reaction. Stress, anxiety, and depression are recognized as global disorders. Therefore, it is essential to reduce it as much as possible. Clinical psychological tests have been introduced to quantify stress, anxiety, and depression levels. These lend support to specialists in treating patients suffering from one or all these disorders. Thus, this review aims to present some tests used nationally, in Romania, and internationally, to assess the patient's degree of impairment and to determine if one of the tests can differentiate these diseases better based on their symptoms.
