Generalized Harmonic DP-Ball Surface

In this paper, we illustrate a method based on the elliptic partial differential operators in which a boundary control point is used to control the whole surface. The present method will give higher flexibility in image interpolation. This method uses two opposite defined boundaries to generate the Delgado and Pena Ball (DP-Ball) surface. In particular, we concentrate on the analysis of the harmonic surfaces of the DP-Ball. The most important discovery is that any harmonic DP-Ball surface will enable the generation and control of the overall surface based on the boundary curves rather than a set of control points. Harmonic DP-Ball patches of grade 2 and degree 3 were chosen to show how the proposed process would work.
