Enhancing BIPA Students’ Listening Ability through the Implementation of the Audiobook E-learning Media

The study aimed to determine the implementation of audiobook e-learning media in BIPA-Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers-Xiangzhu class to enhance the student’s Indonesian listening ability. As stages of the research procedure, qualitative methods and the ADDIE approach were utilized to conduct the research. In addition, triangulation data was used in the analysis of the data. One class consisted of one lecturer, and twenty-one students participated in the research as participants. The result revealed that through the audiobook e-learning media implementation, which was carried out for four weeks, the student’s listening skills improved; they could distinguish sounds and understand the sentence structure. In addition, audiobook e-learning media materials have helped students comprehend the given material. It allowed them to understand the content, remember the material, use the material they heard as knowledge of the world of work, and comprehend specific terms related to the topic explained, such as job application letters, interviews, and some kinds of a business letter.
