Calibrated Cross-Frequency Backscatter Measurement of Antennas With Time-Varying Loads

We present the first technique in the open literature for calibrated cross-frequency backscatter measurement of scatterers with time-varying loading. A cross-frequency backscatter parameter is also introduced to enable meaningful comparison between measured and simulated datasets. Cross-frequency backscatter measurements of an example structure are included and compared against numerical simulations using both time-domain and frequency-domain solvers.
