Motion Parameter Measurement of Aerial Refueling Cone Sleeve Based on Stereo Vision

A measurement method based on stereo vision was proposed to meet the high-efficiency and high-precision measurement about aerial refueling cone sleeve in fight. A stereo vision measurement system was installed on the tanker to obtain the aerial refueling cone sleeve's moving images. Multi-camera synchronous acquisition technology, camera calibration technology based on linear projection constraint and tracking technology of the refueling cone sleeve without reference points are prosed in this paper. The experimental simulation results show that the measurement accuracy of this scheme is better than 5cm, which meets the accuracy requirements of the flight test.
