Distribution Network Reconfiguration Based on Improved Differential Evolution Ant Colony Algorithm

In order to deal with the changes of power flow distribution and topology caused by the incorporation of a large number of distributed generators into the distribution network, an improved differential evolution ant colony algorithm is proposed to reconstruct the distribution network with distributed generators. Firstly, in order to reduce the network loss, improve the load balance degree and obtain high-quality power, a distribution network reconfiguration model with network loss, load balance degree and voltage offset degree as the objective functions is constructed. Then, in view of the shortcomings of ant colony algorithm, such as slow searching speed, low flexibility, falling into local optimization and easy to fall into premature phenomenon, the improved differential evolution algorithm with linearly decreasing weight is combined with ant colony algorithm, so that the hybrid algorithm not only accelerates the convergence speed, effectively overcomes the premature phenomenon, but also improves the flexibility. Finally, by connecting the distributed generation to the IEEE 33 nodes system for example simulation, compared with other algorithms, it is found that the convergence speed and accuracy of the improved algorithm are significantly improved in the process of distribution network reconfiguration, and can be better used for distribution network reconfiguration.
