A Smart Voltage Control Strategy using SEPIC Converter for DC Microgrid

DC-DC power converters are widely used for voltage control in modern power electronic circuits. The capability of S EPIC converter to adjust any variation in dc voltages while maintaining a constant output dc voltage is utilized in voltage regulation circuits. The load voltage of the converter and the reference voltage were compared by the microcontroller, and a voltage value corresponding to the comparison error was generated. With this error, the duty cycle and thereby the gate pulse input to the switch in S EPIC converter was adjusted to ensure that the output voltage reached the desired level. The SEPIC converter load voltage follows the reference value using the proposed control method.
