Implementation of Machine Learning for Analysis of D/L Method

This article examines the Duckworth- Lewis- Stern (DLS) method for One Day International (ODI) cricket matches. The accuracy of the DLS approach is compared to that of several supervised learning algorithms in order to forecast results. The result of a cricket match is predicted during the second inning. To improve its prognostication, the Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) formula used in the paper was also modified. The last phase is the creation of an Unpredictability Index, which ranks various cricket-playing countries according to how unpredictable they are during an ODI match
