A Three-level Drive Control Method Based on High-speed permanent magnet synchronous Motor

Compared with traditional topology of two-level inverters, the current harmonic of high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor (HS-PMSM) is less in the three-level inverters. So as to decrease the THD of current, the dead time effect of inverter should be analyzed and compensated. This paper suggests a new scheme for HS-PMSM. Firstly, the dead time compensation scheme based on SVPWM is introduced. Secondly, aimed at the current phase shift problem caused by the traditional filter used in the current polarity judgment, a filter is adopted to process the output current under the d-q synchronous rotating coordinate system. Finally, simulation results are given to demonstrate the compensation effect.
