A Wireless Induction Heating Rice Cooker With SCCC Compensation Network

This paper presents a wireless induction heating (IH) rice cooker with S-CCC compensation network. The transmitting side can work as an independent induction cooker. The IH rice cooker is the receiving side and can take power wirelessly when placed on top of the transmitting coil. Since the bottom of the IH pot is spherical and the induction coil is far away from the transmitting coil, an intermediate coil is designed between the transmitting coil and the induction coil. The heating power equation of the proposed IH rice cooker is derived, and it is found that the mutual coupling between the intermediate coil and the induction coil can be used to improve the energy transfer power and efficiency. Finally, a wireless induction heating system was built and tested. In induction cooker mode, 2100 watts of power is achieved. In the wireless IH rice cooker mode, 1300 watts of power is realized with the range of 35mm transfer distance and 0~40mm horizontal offset. The heating efficiency of the wireless IH rice cooker is tested by the measurement method in GB 12021.6-2017, and the efficiency reaches 90%, which meets the national first-class energy efficiency standard.
