Mathematical Model of DCMGs with PV arrays Feeding the Parallel Constant Power Loads

This paper presents how to derive the time-invariant mathematical model of the direct current microgrid system with PV arrays feeding the parallel constant power loads. In this paper, the DQ method and the generalized state-space averaging approach are used to eliminate the switching function of the power converter. For the model validation by using the SimPowerSystemo in MATLAB, the results can confirm that the proposed model is accurate. The simulation responses can be shown that the proposed model and the exact topological model can provide both steady state and transient responses with good agreements. The dynamical model derived from the proposed methods will be suitable for the stability analysis or the controller design in the future.
