Electromagnetic Performance Analysis of Rim-Driven Generator

In this paper, the electromagnetic field calculation model of the generator is established based on the finite element software, and the performance of the generator is analyzed based on the model. The electromagnetic characteristics of the generator under no-load and load are calculated in detail. In the no-load electromagnetic characteristics, the saturation degree of the magnetic circuit of the generator, the air gap flux density and the harmonic content of the magnetic field are mainly calculated. In the load electromagnetic characteristics, the influence of armature reaction on the electromagnetic torque and output power of the generator is mainly analyzed, and the loss characteristics of the generator are analyzed. It provides a reference for the optimization design of subsequent generators.
