Influence of trap saturation on surface structure of photorefractive grating in BaTiO/sub 3/ crystal

Theoretical analysis of the elastic and the electric fields of the photorefractive grating near a boundary of an electro-optic BaTiO/sub 3/ crystal in the steady-state without accounting for the effect of trap saturation has been developed. We report the results of the analysis of such a field structure in the region near the Y-surface of the BaTiO/sub 3/ crystal with account taken of the effect of the trap saturation.
