The Design of a 20 GHz Switch Network Based on Microwave Multi-Layer Printing Technology

In this paper, a 20 GHz switch network based on microwave multi-layer printing technology is presented. Due to the excellent high-integration characteristic, multi-layer printing technology is widely used in microwave circuit designs. A 3D electromagnetic field simulation software and PCB circuit co-design method is utilized for a 20 GHz switch network design. Measured results show that the insertion loss of each channel in the 1-to-8 switch is 10 dB. The isolation between two adjacent channels is 25.7 dB.
