Establishing Solution Provider Firm Focusing on Resilience Engineering Framework

Resilience engineering is a strategy that emphasizes a system's capacity to deal with crises, unexpected events, and obstacles while maintaining productivity and safety. 70% of respondents were pleased or dissatisfied with the current consulting service owing to unsustainable solutions. To reduce the problem, this study performed an experiment using a resilience engineering approach. A self-administered checklist was developed to assess the resilience capacity of organization in pilot testing and simulation study. After implementation and adaptation of the resilience engineering framework in pilot testing, the absorptive, adaptive, and restorative capacity was assessed through the resilience capacity assessment and was increased from 59 to 87 points, a 22.22% improvement from a Low to an Average Resilience Capacity, while the simulation increased from 63 to 103 points, a 38.23% improvement from a Low to an Average Resilience Capacity. With an initial expenditure of 8.2 million Philippine pesos and a payback period of 11.52 months, the viability of offering this service has been demonstrated.
