High-Resolution Digital Elevation Model Development to Support Emergency Preparedness in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, Canada

This paper describes the creation of integrated topographic and bathymetric Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) using international standards developed by National Center for Environmental Information and National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration. This work was completed as part of the Haida Gwaii Erosion Study project, a collaboration between Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) and Northwest Hydraulic Consultants Ltd. (NHC) with funding from the North Coast Regional District (NCRD).
