Practical Approach to Lean Manufacturing Development and Training

The article identifies the needs of stakeholders and proposes the concept of Lean Manufacturing (LM) Competence Center in high-tech industries. The approach of practical training is based on conjunction with industrial partners, the university and the professional community of lean manufacturing. The levels of competences needed are identified and there is a group of training activities are proposed. The approach of LM Competence Center is related with international practice of Quality Management and LM education and development and it can be realized in the other education centers.
