Implementation of Software for Technical Diagnostics of Shafts Based on Vibration Analysis

The article is devoted to the creation of software for technical diagnostics of shafts based on vibration analysis. Similar information systems are used in hardware systems for monitoring ship shafting vibrations. The need to develop and implement the proposed solutions is due to the practice of operating marine power plants, a significant part of the accidents of which are associated with damage to the ship’s shaft line. The article proposes an approach to improving the reliability of a marine power plant based on simultaneous registration of torsional, transverse and longitudinal vibrations implemented in a specialized information system and hardware. The implementation of the complex is of particular importance for vessels operating in the Arctic region. The component composition of the monitoring complex and the component connection scheme are given and described. An algorithm for calculating and registering loads based on a deterministic prediction and recording of load levels leading to shaft failure from high-cycle fatigue has been developed. The concept of an information system model based on the methodology of object-oriented analysis and design is proposed. The practical significance of the study is due to the fact that the results obtained will allow us to develop a prototype of a software and hardware complex for monitoring vibrations of the ship’s shaft line to ensure the reliability of ships.
