Measurement of Changes in Electrical Resistivity of Flat Samples Under Uniaxial Tension

In order to measure changes in electrical resistivity of flat metal sheets during their uniaxial tension, the method of direct current drop potential (DCDP) techniques is applied. The complexity of the measurements lies within the change in the cross section of the sample and the distance between the potential electrodes during the sample deformation. The article describes a method that makes it possible to measure changes in electrical resistivity of a sample without complex additional measurements and time-consuming calculations.
