Conceptual Modeling of Organisation

An approach to modeling complex organizational and technical systems at the stage of their preliminary (conceptual) design, when there is no formalized description of such systems, is proposed. Current concepts and best practices of successful activity and automation of organizations are effective at the stage of technical design, but do not determine the methods and notations of conceptual model development. The application of rational IDEF-methods is justified, which allow to identify the required structure and parameters of the organization's process system at a given planning horizon for the subsequent generation of requirements for the system of automated technologies of such an organization.
