Modelling and Analysis of Cloud Computing Systems using Queuing Models with Correlated Arrivals and Correlated Reneging

This paper deals with a queuing model for cloud computing framework, where the arrivals are correlated and the reneging at two consecutive time-marks is also correlated. It is well known that the arrival tasks in cloud data stream is correlated, that is, there is a dependence of arrival of tasks at two consecutive time marks. Further, it has also been studied that the reneging of tasks in cloud computing systems is correlated. However, the analysis of cloud computing systems using queuing models with correlated arrivals and correlated reneging has not been carried out so far. The time-dependent behavior of a queuing model with correlated arrivals and correlated reneging has been analyzed. Some important performance measures like average queue length and average waiting time in the queue are computed. We have also performed the comparative analysis with the existing models and noted the significant changes.
