Proposal of Prototype of PMU Based on Dynamic Phasors

Monitoring systems act decisively in any process, thus maintaining the maintenance and operability of equipment. In this context, the equipment that has been gaining market share by providing synchronized system magnitudes is the Synchronized Phase Measurement Unit(PMU). This equipment is capable of providing the system operator with phasor values of voltages and currents synchronized with a satellite signal. The main objective of this work is to develop, test and validate a PMU, comprising a hardware and software platform for use in research environments.
