Graphene-Dielectric based Tunable Terahertz Polarisation Insensitive Modulator

We propose a polarization-insensitive tunable broadband modulator using a multi-stacked metamaterial configuration. Our design promises more than 95 % absorption over a spectral range of 1 THz. An active absorption modulation of 53% is achieved by changing the Fermi energy of graphene nanoribbons.
