Project Management System Tools Based on Approximate Information Models

Unlike existing expensive software systems, the project management system is intended for small companies, for example, in the IT field. A distinctive feature of the proposed approaches is the use of approximate information models (linguistic, fuzzy and interval models). One of the main tools is the scheduling algorithm. Since projects can be unique and, therefore, there is no statistical information on the duration of work, it is advisable to use approximate models for its expert assessment. The proposed algorithm for calculating the time parameters of the network graph allows us to implement the strategy of “soft” project planning. Interval parameter values allow solving the problem of eliminating downtime when performing work.
