Research on Control and Dispatching of Lake Water Storage Based on Optimal Dispatching Model

In this paper, a water level control model is constructed to solve the water storage problem of Meade Lake and Powell Lake in the United States. First of all, the water from the dam provides part of the water input to the Hoover Dam, and the correlation model of the two dams is established. This paper realizes the unity of “maximum electric energy” and “minimum water consumption” criteria. Taking this as the performance index of the system, a short-term optimal dispatching model is established. The relationship between hydropower conversion rate and lake water level height is obtained. Considering Mexico's interests, the lower the total water consumption allocated by the five states at the end of the cycle, the higher Mexico's benefits will be. After the planned water allocation, the total amount of water flow minus the output of the two lakes is the amount of water flowing into the Gulf of California, and finally, get the result of the amount of water that needs to be added.
